Mercedes CLC Shoting Brake

According to German edition AutoBild, the company of Mercedes-Benz wants to adjust release of the new small versatile person which will stand on a step below the S-class. While this car carries conditional name CLC Shoting Brake. At the heart of this model there will be a platform from new generation of the A-class.

Here again it is necessary to make small deviation. The difference between a new A-class and old will appear not only in design. The difference will be in the approach – the new car will be focused on high-speed driving and reception of pleasure from passage of turns, instead of comfortable moving from one point of a city in another. Besides, it is not excluded that the A-class of new generation which will be presented in 2011-2012, will have a drive on a back axis!

And here on this rear-wheel platform the new small versatile person also will be created. According to AutoBild, under a cowl of this model will put wide scale of engines. So, will appear diesel engines in volume of 1,8 l (109 h.p. or 136 h.p.) and 2,2 l (170 h.p.), and volume of petrol units (all with a turbo-supercharging) will be made by 1,6 l (122 h.p. or 156 h.p.) and 2,0 l (204 h.p.). Well and the version from AMG will be equipped with the engine capacity about 275-300 h.p.
