Jeep represents 2011 Grand Cherokee on a motor show in New York!

On the International motor show in New York company Jeep entering into structure of American concern Chrysler, has presented Grand Cherokee new generation. 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee the ML-class is designed on the basis of a Mercedes-Benz and on 13 sm is longer, than model of the previous generation. Such approach gave to developers side benefits in respect of the organisation of internal space of the car, especially in respect of increase of comfort for passengers of a back row. One more advantage of the big platform – wider doorways and the increased volume of a luggage compartment.

For the market of North America Jeep offers two engines in structure Grand Cherokee. The base unit – absolutely new 3,6-litre V6 capacity of 280 h.p. (max. twisting moment – 353 Nanometers). The company does not open the information about fuels use new off-road car, but specifies that "single" run Grand Cherokee increases by 11 % in comparison with the present unit – 3,7-litres V6. For clients with higher inquiries Jeep has prepared 5,7-litre V8 HEMI capacity of 360 h.p. (520 Nanometers). When Jeep Grand Cherokee will reach the foreign markets, on them the diesel engine will be offered also. What while it is not clear.

New Jeep Grand Cherokee it will be offered in two various variants of the organisation full drive transmissions and suspenders. The first – like that is used today in structure Land Rover (Selec-Terrain) with five various modes: sand/dirt, sports, automatic, snow, stones; another provides presence of the active pneumosuspender Quadra-Lift which is giving the chance to a body or to rise for maintenance of the improved off-road standards, or to fall for increase of aerodynamic properties.
